Chapter 5

"Fuck, they’re home!" Sheri shouted as she reached for the phone and tried to stand up at the same time. She managed to knock the phone to the floor.

Time froze for an instant as Sheri melted down. This cannot be happening, she thought. My tits are hanging out, my fingers are wet with my own pussy juices, people are fucking on the television, and Jim Erikson is going to come in and see all of this. My life is so over!

The sound of the car door slamming snapped her out of her reverie. She grabbed the remote control and hit the "Last" button, switching the naked bodies to a Subway commercial on TNT. She threw the remote on the couch, bent down, and grabbed her phone, hissing, "Sorry, gotta go!"

She ran down the hall to the bathroom and she heard the interior garage door opening. She silently eased the bathroom door closed as Jim Erikson called, "We're home!"

Sheri figured she had bought herself some time to regain her composure in the locked room. She looked in the mirror and saw that she was sweating, a bright red flush spread across her face and neck. She grabbed a Kleenex and dabbed at her face, willing her heartbeat to slow down.

There was a knock at the door, and Rachel called, "Sheri, honey, we're home. Are you all right?"

Sheri prayed her voice didn't falter as she responded, "Oh, great timing! I'll be right out!"

She took several deep breaths as she readjusted her bra and buttoned up her blouse once again. She straightened her belt and pulled down on the hem of her skirt. Then she had another panic attack.

The panties, she thought in mounting terror. Oh holy hell, my panties are still in the living room!

The realization filled her with anxiety and made her flush even brighter. There was no way she was going to be able to walk out of this room calmly.

Sheri took about five minutes to try and steady herself as best as she could, all the while listening carefully for Jim or Rachel to suddenly call out, "What are these doing here??" She flushed the toilet, splashed water on her face, and took as many deep cleansing breaths as she could without hyperventilating.

Wanting to stall no further, Sheri opened the door and walked out to the living room. A sudden idea struck her, and when she saw Jim, she tripped and fell on the floor. As Jim rushed over to help her up, she thought to herself, That should give me a reason to look flushed and embarrassed!

She allowed Jim to help her out, being sure to subtly grab his big biceps on the way up. She assured him that she was OK while she secretly scanned the area around the couch. She saw a flash of pink sticking out from under the coffee table. They weren't in full view, but still highly noticeable. She needed to get to them soon.

She could hear Rachel checking in on the sleeping Nicolas and knew she didn't have much time.
